THE ROLE OF EFFECTIVE STRESS SPEED IN CONSOLIDATION ANALYSIS
Rheological relations obtained by differentiating the equation of time lines in the log coordinate system were obtained. Comparisons were made of the numerical computation of isochrones, pore-pressure versus time, and void-ratio versus time, with or without considering the effective stress rate in the rheological relation. The influence of the effective stress on the consolidation process has been proved to be negligibly small. /TRRL/
