TEAM APPROACH TO TSM PLANNING

A team approach is suggested for larger transportation system management planning in larger urban areas with corridors serving some 100,000 person trips daily. Internsive observation and analysis of all modal facilities in such corridors suggests short-range improvements that are reported to have benefits greatly exceeding all costs involved.
