FALSE SETTING OF CEMENT
A PROPOS DE LA FAUSSE PRISE DES CIMENTS
The author recalls the causes of false setting (hydration of the plaster which can be present in cement, carbonation of alkali) and its effects on the behaviour of grout, mortar or concrete, which can lead to difficulties of application. Observations obtained with a differential wattmeter controlling the production of a concrete mixing plant are presented. /TRRL/
