STABILITY OF SHIPS IN IRREGULAR FOLLOWING SEA
The problem of capsizing of ships in irregular sea has during recent years become a more and more important problem. This paper gives a review of previous papers, published by authors in analogus fields. Their results are here applied to the ship-rolling problem. In the paper the author extends the results of lightly damped systems. At the end of the paper the author refers to some of the stability analyses of the nonlinear and stochastically, parametric excitated equation of rolling.
