NEW APPROACH TO LABOUR PROBLEMS

Shoreside management-labour relations techniques were applied to ship operating personnel. Included in this study are job analysis for officers and crew, plus use of the analysis in preparing training and operating manuals. The manual includes individual procedures, by diagrammatic sequences, covering emergencies such as, fire, man overboard, collision, grounding, etc.
