INTERMITTENT ICE FORCES ACTING ON INCLINED WEDGES
A theoretical and experimental investigation of the rupture pattern in front of an inclined wedge has been performed to determine the force fluctuations during the impact of a drifting ice flow. The formulas given are based on a theoretical investigation verified by model tests with artificial and natural ice.
