THEORETICAL EVALUATION OF THE SEAKEEPING PERFORMANCE OF FIVE CANDIDATE OTEC PLATFORMS
A theoretical approach is presented and applied to five platform types--ship, submarine, vertical column stabilized semisubmersible, disc and axisymmetric spar. Motions and cold water pipe bending moment distributions are investigated.
