AERODROME MANUAL

This manual which provides information regarding the design and construction of aerodromes and the equipment thereon, is designed to encourage the uniform application of specifications and to provide guidance to Contracting States. The manual covers: general aircraft characteristics; aerodrome physical characteristis; obstruction restriction, removal and marking (surfaces, sheilding, hazards) visual ground aids; equipment, procedures and services (rescue, fire fighting, runway surface conditions, bird hazard etc.); and heliports; water aerodromes.
