HOUSTON METRO AND PARTNERS CELEBRATE MAP'S 10 YEARS
The Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) in Harris County, Texas, offers free services to stranded drivers and in the past 10 years has assisted more than 400,000 people with crashes, flat tires, and broken-down vehicles. MAP has played a critical role in reducing traffic congestion caused by these incidents, which account for 60% of the congestion in the Houston region.
