EFFECTIVENESS OF ITS TECHNOLOGY ON ROAD DISASTER SUPPORTING SYSTEM

The Kyushu Regional Construction Office of the Ministry of Construction has created a "Prevention and Restoration Action Plan" as a manual to cope with natural disasters which often hit this region. This manual aims to keep the road networks from being severely damaged and to ensure fast restoration activities, while also providing alternative routes to minimize the impact on road traffic.
