VERIFICATION OF FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TOLL COLLECTION SYSTEMS

Sooner or later, as a customer you will arrive at a point where an installation shall be accepted and responsibility for operations accepted. It is at that crucial milestone important to verify that the delivery in all aspects is in accordance with the contract agreements and the specification. Careful planning of the verification process is strongly adviced; in fact it is a necessity in most cases. This planning will take a lot of time and should therefore be prepared almost from the very initiation of the project. This paper is based on experiences gained during the commissioning of the Storebelt toll collection system in Denmark. For the covering abstract see IRRD E102946.
