ROAD DEVELOPMENT IN VIETNAM AND PRIORITY NEEDS FOR NEW TECHNOLOGIES

Vietnam is undertaking many upgrading and improvement projects in the transport sector. This is leading to a large demand on transfer of foreign technologies into the country. Having described a list of transport projects, the paper discusses the institutional framework and some applied imported technologies.
