USE OF THE C LANGUAGE IN VEHICLE BASED SOFTWARE

This paper reports on the use of the C programming language in the automotive industry. It describes how guidelines for using C language, including their rationale, were prepared under the auspices of the Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA).
