NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF MOVING LOAD EFFECT ON ROAD BRIDGES
The computing models of bridges and vehicles are presented. For the purpose of a numerical simulation of vehicle motion along a bridge structure the bridges are modeled as systems with continuously distributed mass, as systems with n concentrated masses, or bridges are modeled in the sense of Finite Element Method. Vehicles are modeled as systems of masses, linear springs, linear or bilinear dampers and trilinear friction members in the sense of Component Element Method. All numerically obtained results are verified by the full scale tests or laboratory model tests. Some interesting results are presented in this paper. For the covering abstract see IRRD E102667.
