THE EXPERIENCE OF A TOLL MOTORWAY OPERATOR: SANEF
This paper succinctly describes the main results that SANEF, a French toll motorway operator, obtains with its WIM HESTIA stations. It analyses details of the traffic on the A1 motorway, in term of volumes, speeds, loads of heavy vehicles, and insists more particularly on the notion of aggressivity, which is fundamental for studies of pavement maintenance. For the covering abstract see IRRD E102667.
