STRENGTH, DUCTILITY, AND RELIABILITY OF HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE (HSC) COLUMNS
A comprehensive study on the strength, ductility, and reliability of high strength concrete (HSC) columns is presented. The in situ strength of HSC, confinement models, strength models for stocky and slender columns, load effects, and the probabilistic assessment of the reliability of HSC columns designed according to the ACI Code are discussed. Finally, design recommendations are suggested.
