The centerpiece of the Daewoo Business Center is a 96-story office/hotel building to be constructed in Shanghai, China. Overall height to the top of the sloping roof is 420 meters above grade. The lower 60 floors of the building are office space with typical plan dimensions of 47.1m by 47.1m and a floor to floor height of 4.00m. The next 30 floors of the building are hotel space with typical plan dimensions of 37.0m by 37.0m and a floor to floor height of 3.25m. Hotel floor plans are rotated by 45 degrees with respect to office floor plans so that corner columns at hotel floors are aligned with mid-side columns at office floors. The upper 6 floors of the building are restaurant, observation and mechanical equipment floors with typical plan dimensions of 30.0m by 30.0m. These floors are rotated by 45 degrees with respect to hotel floors. The elevation at the 96th floor is 385m above grade. The building is capped by a 35m tall sloping roof structures.
