M21 - TEST OF MOBILITY SERVICES A COMMON PRIVATE AND PUBLIC PROJECT : NEW SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESS TRAFFIC IN CONURBATION
A mobility concept for the business traffic in the metropolitan area around Stuttgart is taken as an example to show how attractive projects should be devised to ensure future mobility from the point of view of both the operator and the customer. New mobility services around the vehicle are major prerequisites for solving future mobility requirements of traffic in urban areas. As part of the concentration of the Mercedes-Benz development a mobility concept for business traffic will be started at the Sindelfingen location with pilot projects including several mobility modules and services. It is planned to establish an economic basis for this mobility concept for the Stuttgart area in cooperation with the responsible political committees in Baden Wurttemberg and partners from industry and trade. Depending on the degree of acceptance and efficiency achieved during the course of this project, these new mobility approaches in business traffic will be transferred to different fields of application and regions
