CONVERSION OF A DIGITAL ROAD MAP INTO A TRAFFIC INFORMATION CENTER ORIENTED FORMAT AND BUILDING OF A LOCATION REFERENCING SCHEME

This paper describes how a Korean digital road map that was originally used for navigation purposes was converted into a general traffic information center. The converted format is being used for different applications. Location referencing schemes and dynamic network assignment and also discussed.
