URBAN FACILITY MANAGEMENT USING JAVA BASED GIS

This paper describes a how a JAVA based Geographic Information System (GIS) program is used to manipulate geographic data on the Internet. The program communicates interactively, transfer real time data, and delivers information on traffic conditions, road surface conditions weather, and street names. In addition, the paper describes different techniques for expressing real time traffic information.
