PC MUST BE TOUGHER, SIMPLER BEFORE IT HITS THE ROAD, FORD EXEC SAYS
This article presents some concerns by an automobile executive regarding what will contribute to the acceptance and success of electronic information systems in automobiles. The term infotronics is used to describe these electronic information systems. It is suggested that infotronic components be theft-proof, serviceable diagnosable, replace and compatible with the vehicle electrical system. The components must also be durable, crashworthy, and fast and easy to assemble.
