A PREDICTIVE DYNAMIC TRAFFIC ASSIGNMENT MODEL FOR SIGNAL-CONTROLLED ROAD NETWORKS

This paper describes how a predictive dynamic traffic assignment model in congested capacity-constrained road networks can be extended to incorporate signal control on a set of links. A traffic simulator and a time-dependent shortest path algorithm are used in a method of successive averages to solve the dynamic equilibrium solution of the problem.
