ANALYSIS OF THE URBAN TRAFFIC USING FUZZY DECISION-MAKING PROCESS
This paper examines the use of fuzzy traffic signal controllers. In order to overcome the limitations of the manually-designed fuzzy controller, a methodology of optimizing the fuzzy traffic signal controller using genetic algorithms (GA) is also presented. The validity and efficiency of the proposed methods are verified through simulations.
