SHARING EXPERIENCE : FOR EIGHT YEARS POLIS HAS BEEN HELPING EUROPEAN CITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR ITS PROJECTS TOGETHER

This article focuses on Polis, a forum for information exchange and transfer for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in European institutions and industry. Polis also provides guidance to cities and regions regarding how to network, maximize value from projects, and how to effectively market ITS activities. Examples are given of projects taking place in Barcelona, Glasgow, Hampshire, Munich, Paris Turin, and Trondheim.
