SPEED POLICY REVIEW - DISCUSSION PAPER
This discussion paper is part of the UK review of speed policy in relation to the principles of safety , mobility, the economy and the environment. Under the heading "the effects of speed", vehicle speed and road safety is discussed together with speed and the environment, speed and the quality of life, and economic implications of speed. Under the heading "where do we go from here" issues related to road types are discussed and measures to moderate vehicle speeds.
