PROCEEDINGS OF THE CONFERENCE ON NONPOINT SOURCES OF WATER POLLUTION: PROBLEMS, POLICIES, AND PROSPECTS, HELD AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY, SEPTEMBER 13-14, 1976
The objective of this conference was to identify the nature, sources, and extent of nonpoint pollution, and to describe what is known about its effect and what is being done. This included identifying problems in programs and policies, as well as gaps in knowledge, particularly as applied to Indiana. There were 13 papers presented in the areas of precipitation, urban runoff, highways, agriculture, forests, and mining. Also included was an overview of policies and programs, and a panel discussion on problems, prospects, and practicalities.
