SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT PLANNING FOR A LARGE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
This paper is a case study near Loughborough. It describes the experience of making a large scale housing allocation in a local plan where transport implications are the prime consideration. The key issue is the development of a satisfactory package of transport improvements within a well developed policy framework but against strong local and political objection. For the covering abstract, see IRRD E100781.
