CONDITION MEASUREMENTS OF OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

TILLSTAANDSMAETNING DRIFT OCH UNDERHAALL. INVENTERING AV DAGENS MAETMETODER OCH UTVECKLINGSBEHOV FOER TILLSTAANDSMAETNING INOM DRIFT- OCH UNDERHAALLSVERKSAMHETEN

The aim of the project is to increase the competence concerning methods for condition measurements of operation and maintenance activities. To be able to follow the condition of a structure continuously, it is necessary to know the requirements/specifications to be measured and the precision required. This sub-report is an inventory of what is currently measured, demands and methods, those who carry out the measurements, the cost, purchasing methods and those responsible for deciding which actions to be taken. Besides the exchange of experience, the inventory specifies the existing measurement methods of value and the activities where the development of new or changed measurement methods are required. As regards operation and maintenance activities the following sub-areas were chosen: (1) Bare ground maintenance; (2) Pavements; (3) Bridges; (4) Winter road maintenance; (5) Road markings; and (6) Green areas.
