LANDSIDE PLANNING AT ABIA
Traditional planning and design project management includes the development of a process for decision-making consensus and then "freezing" the concept before detail design begins. While this approach is effective most of the time, there is usually some unexpected change that occurs. Based on the success of the approach at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, this paper presnets another tool for managing changes in project direction that impact detailed desing.
