RISK ANALYSIS AND SAFETY CONCEPT. NORRA AND SODRA LANKEN (NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN LINK)

The work on safety and security on Norra and Sodra Lanken has been performed in a number of iterative processes. The aim has been to identify weaknesses in the safety concepts proposed as well as to find cost-effective solutions within the framework of the safety concepts proposed as well as to find cost-effective solutions within the framework of the safety level established. Various solutions have been examined with respect to structural engineering measures, safety engineering installations, restrictions and the organization of rescue services. Through the development of an evaluation model it has been possible to compare and evaluate the alternative solutions.
