PREDICTING THE PROBABILITY OF LOSS OF COMMUTER AIR SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES
Over two hundred communities across the U.S. have commercial air service provided by carriers using turboprop aircraft only. Communities need to be aware of various factors that may endanger their commercial air service. The object of this research is to determine those factors. By predicting the loss of service for small communities, the communities are able to plan accordingly. Areas predicted to be in danger of losing service are concentrated in the Midwest.
