PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE DRIVERS' CAPABILITY ON THE ROAD AND CITY TRANSPORT IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
The author discusses the state and use of psychological assessment to determine the safety of drivers in the Czech Republic. Psychological tests are generally administered to taxi drivers, public transport drivers, and fire brigade drivers. Driver teacher candidates must always obtain a psychological assessment. Non-professional drivers have to take a medical exam, and the physician may or may not request that they also receive a psychological assessment.
