AGING AND TRANSIT ROUNDTABLES

The material contained in this report is a summation of the information obtained from the roundtable participants. The following questions were addressed: How can availability of transportation for elders be improved?; How can inadequate funding, conflicting regulations, and burdensome reporting regulations be addressed?; How to prepare for individuals' mobiity needs in the year 2010?; What is transportation's role in the long term care continuum of community based service?; and, How can the National Eldercare Institute on Transportation best provide service?
