AFT END DEFECTS - A 10 YEAR LLOYD'S REGISTER ANALYSIS
The article concerns ships built between 1965 and 1974 and is limited to ships with machinery aft and to the after end of the same group of ships. It presents data on the incidence of defect (fracture) of the structure, and deals with conventional and specialized dry cargo ships, oil tankers, and bulk carriers.
