SUPPORT AND SAFETY MEASURES FOR THE SHOTCRETE TUNNELLING METHOD
SOUTENEMENT ET MESURES DE SECURITE CONCENEMANT LE BETON PROJETE EN SOUTERRAIN
The state of the art for the support and safety measures for the shotcrete tunneling method are described. Emphasis is put on the important significance of the New Austrian Tunnel Method (NATM), the applicability depending on soil or rock conditions and especially on pre-investigations of the ground. The range of additional measures are documented at current tunnel executions in Germany.
