CIPP MANHOLES -- A MAJOR PART OF SANITARY SEWER REHAB
This article describes Jefferson County, Alabama's current involvement in a massive, multi-year sanitary sewer rehabilitation effort encompassing the entire county. This is the largest project of its kind for a metropolitan area the size of Birmingham, Alabama, population one million. One the project had begun, it became evident that manhole rehabilitation wold be a larger part of the project than was first thought. Because quality and long-term value are primary concerns of county officials, prequalification of all contractors and products is required.
