DEVIANT SPEED BEHAVIOUR AS A SAFETY PROBLEM IN ROAD TRAFFIC
POIKKEAVA NOPEUSKAYTTAYTYMINEN TIELIIKENTEEN TURVALLISUUSONGELMA
This study examines deviant speed behaviour and phenomena involved with it. The study was divided into four parts: examining the characteristics of fast and slow drivers and their former traffic violations, close-following driving style, and permanence of driving style. Data was collected by using observations and interviews in the field, as well as accident and traffic violation registers.
