SURVIVORS: SIX WORKERS SURVIVE SCAFFOLD COLLAPSE, ONE HOSPITALIZED
Six workers were injured February 6, 1999, when a section of wooden scaffolding collapsed beneath them on a bridge project in Wichita, Kansas. The workers were placing concrete for a wall adjacent to a new bridge over the Arkansas River when the scaffolding gave way.
