WORKERS PULVERIZE ROAD TO REPAIR IT
Engineers repaired a crumbling road in Truckee, California, by pulverizing the existing asphalt and reapplying it mixed with calcium, alumina, silica, and water. Project engineers estimate that using the Geobase process, instead of rebuilding the road, saved approximately $50,000.
