URBAN STRUCTURE AND MODAL DISTRIBUTION
Urban structure and modal distribution are difficult issues to conceptualize. This article, which focuses primarily on the parameters of "urban density" and "modal distribution"., touches only on general aspects and trends. Beyond urban density, which is difficult to control in terms of duration and spatial dynamics, the paper discusses controlling parking as a decisive factor with regard to modal practices, and therefore in the context of transportation policy as a whole.
