NATIONAL STUDIES OF THE U.S. TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
National studies have provided an important perspective on the functioning of the U.S. transportation system. They have increased our understanding of the individual modes of transportation and how they interrelate. These studies have focused attention on the major national transportation issues and assessed options to addressing these issues.
