SOTRAC'S CUSTOMERS' MOBILITY CHANGES STUDY OWING TO THE DECLINE IN THE OFFER
ETUDE DES CHANGEMENTS DE MONILITE CLIENTELE SOTRAC SUITE A LA REGRESSION DE L'OFFRE
With a view to a better awareness of the families' living conditions, INRETS initiated a series of studies on the mobility of low income groups in 1994. After the study of nonmotorized transportation, a further study relating to the mobility of low income persons in urban areas was initiated. The SOTRAC crisis occurred in that time period, and it caused substantial changes in the attitudes of the company's customers. This paper discusses the inquiries carried out for the purpose of understanding the phenomenon.
