ITS NATIONAL INVESTMENT AND MARKET ANALYSIS: TASK B - LITERATURE REVIEW

This report represents an important first step in the overall study process for the "ITS National Investment and Market Analysis" study. It summarizes current information available on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) that is relevant to the analytical requirements of this study, organized around three key task objectives: Identification of key information needs related to the analysis of costs and benefits of ITS deployment; Examination of the available information sources on ITS deployment; and Summary and evaluation of the findings reported in the literature on costs and benefits associated with the deployment goals for ITS.
