A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM TO SUPPORT THE NEW YORK CITY EMPLOYEE COMMUTE OPTIONS PROGRAM
This paper describes a Geographic Information System (GIS) developed by the New York City Department of Transportation. The goal of the GIS was to aid employers with information and evaluation of the work- related transportation options for their employees.
