MAKING ITS WORK FOR A MIDDLE SIZED "NEW" CITY

This paper describes the goals for an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) program for the City of Mission Viejo, a middle-sized master-planned residential community in California. It gives an overview of the challenges involved in implementing, operating, and maintaining the ITS.
