ALGORITHM OF OPTIMAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL CYCLE USING NEURAL NETWORK AND FUZZY RULES
In this paper, the authors propose a new concept for an optimal traffic signal cycle method that reduces the average vehicle waiting time and improves average vehicle speed. An optimal traffic cycle with fuzzy rules and a neural network to prevent overvlow and reduce waiting time is proposed. This method is capable of considering vehicle length for passing vehicles.
