A METHOD OF THE SIGNAL PROCESSING OF THE REAR-END COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER CARS

This paper focuses on rear-end collision warning systems. In order to improve the conventional rear-end collision warning system, an algorithm of safety distance calculation based on the coefficient of friction is proposed. The collision avoidance system using the proposed algorithm is examined by computer simulation. IN JAPANESE
