DRIVE PROJECT SAMOVAR

This brief article provides a summary of the DRIVE 2 sponsored project SAMOVAR (Safety Assessment Monitoring On-Vehicle with Automatic Recording). The chief objective of the SAMOVAR project is to determine the feasibility of a low cost in-vehicle electronic system which records data relating to vehicle and driver behavior with respect to traffic safety issues.
