MICROWAVE ID-TAG SYSTEM FOR GATE ACCESS CONTROL

This paper describes the development of a read/write type of microwave ID- tag powered by a battery. The main features of this ID-tag as a stand alone tag are high data rate and low power consumption. A gate access control system using this tag has been developed and applied to logistic operations such as traffic control of delivery trucks in automobile plants.
