CONTACT-FREE IC CARDS FOR NEW RAILWAY TICKET SYSTEMS
This paper describes two types of smart cards which can communicate with an automatic gate machine without contact. The differences between the two cards, the first using medium wave radio communication while the second employs microwave communication, are described.
